Formed in 1969 and originally known as Eric Burdon and War, their groundbreaking sound mixing rock, jazz, funk, R&B, and Latin rhythms defies binary categorization. Featuring a multicultural lineup, across more than four decades War's music has served as both a reflection of their diverse backgrounds and a platform for social commentary.
With an extensive discography including 7 gold-certified albums (three of them hitting number 1) War have used their music to address critical societal issues, reminding us of the harmonious potential that arises when different voices come together in unity.
