Hailing from Los Angeles, the boundary-pushing quartet Chicano Batman has been expanding consciousness and opening the doors of sonic perception ever since they formed in 2008. Fusing fizzy West Coast psychedelia with tropicalia and 60s/70s soul, the outfit has released four albums to date, with their fifth, 'Notebook Fantasy,' on its way. Hitting the road in North America this year is Leonid and Friends, the YouTube sensation tribute band to Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire and others, from Eastern Europe! Despite never having seen Chicago live (they never toured to band leader Leonid Vorobyev's home country of Russia), the group became a global hit for their stunning recreation of the music of the legendary American soft-rockers.

Fusing good old fashioned rock and roll with brown-eyed soul, cumbia, boleros and norteno, Tex-Mex outfit Los Lobos (which translates to The Wolves) first gained commercial success and an international following when their cover of Ritchie Valens' La Bamba hit the top of the charts around the world in 1987. Experimenting with multiple genres over the decades, their wide-ranging sound has flourished in a variety of styles, from acoustic ballads to experimental rock. Whilst they may reinvent themselves constantly, their definitive fusion of Latin and American music remains at the creative core.

One of Mexico's most influential rock bands returns to North America on tour in 2024, with support from Cafe Tacvba! Heavily influenced by the likes of The Cure and Echo and The Bunnymen, Caifanes achieved national success through the late 80s and early 90s with their molding of New Wave sounds and traditional mariachi trumpets and bolero guitars, no better showcased than on their most famous number La Celula Que Exploita.
